We are launching this blog with a short presentation.

InternetLab was born in April 2014, from the perception that the academic debate on Law and Technology in Brazil still has a long way to go, especially regarding Internet policy.

Following an entrepreneurial non-profit model, dedicated to tech policy research and initiatives to foster people and projects in the realm of Law and Technology, we see this blog as an essential element of our mission.

In this space, we will post some of our research results, in a straightforward and accessible way, so that we can engage with multiple stakeholders and the general public, raising awareness about this range of topics.

We will also use this blog as a sharing platform for events, analysis, opinions and other publications, even if they don’t directly relate ot our ongoing research projects.

This space won’t be solely ours. Through our new International Correspondents Program, which will be announced soon, this blog will also work as a network of foreign researchers, who will be invited to contribute with their perspectives about these themes.
